History

MyCall Telecom was founded early 1999 by Michael R. Hagens. Michael previously was involved in founding Esprit Telecom, one of the first successful European carriers competing against the incumbents. He is active as chairman of the board of MyCall.

The first contract to place computers in the premises of a hotel was signed in April 1999. The Amsterdam Hilton Hotel signed in May 1999 followed by other Hilton hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Golden Tulip Hotels and many more.

March 2000 the name MyCall Telecom was changed into MyCall. The first MyCall WebPage went live in February 2000 and is now the starting point for every hotel guest using a MyCall computer. Hotel guests using a MyCall computer use www.mycall.com automatically as their start page. Now familiarized with this start page, travelers can use and are currently using www.MyCall.com as their standard start page wherever they are.

www.mycall.com has become a popular start page for travelers and at home.
